Model Trams
Hastings Tramcar 10
This ¼ scale model tramcar was built by Roy Austen. It was repainted and repaired in 2005 by several members in time for the Centenary celebrations in Hastings and Bexhill in 2005 and 2006, respectively. It is hoped that it may one day be motorised to give children rides. It is stored at our Staplecross site and will hopefully be found out during open days. The tram is in need of some attention again, after several years of storage.
Club layouts
Hastings Tramways
This "00" gauge layout was built several years ago by the members of the Hastings tramways club. Its a two rail operation layout based on the layout of the Hastings Tramways. It made its debut at the RVRSA Open Day in April 2006 after it was rebuilt by some of our members. The layout has since been damaged and is awaiting repair.

Rural Tramways
This "00" gauge layout was built by Oliver Boorman-Humphrey and his father, Alan, in February 2005. It is set in a fictitious semi- rural small town with its own small tramway. It works on two-rail operation using Gaugemaster controls. The layout has one main oval with three sidings including a passing loop. The layout has a fully working traverser (used to move tramcars about the depot tracks without a fan of points). For more information, visit oliverboorman.biz
